WVUontheFLY 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2015 Catch all the game species of esox in WV; musky, northern pike, tiger musky, and chain pickerel. Also I would like to catch some new personal bests with a few different species; brown trout, brook trout, carp, and musky. A lot on my plate for the year but it should be obtainable. Pabrookie94 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2015 Catch a steelhead on a fly rod (never fished for them before) , catch a pike and musky on a fly rod (also never fished for them on a fly rod) , catch a natural 20" brown on my new 3 weight, and lastly.....FISH. I wouldn't care a bit if I didn't meet any of these goals as long as I get out to fish. Can't ever do too much of that.
Adam Saarinen 0 Report post Posted March 7, 2015 Catch a Atlantic salmon in Norway when i'm on the orkla river, then consentrait on the 2nd one? Save enough to buy the tmc2 vice. Go for a triple grayling hook up on a 3 nymph rig in Lapland. Try to spend 3 whole weeks in north lapland forgetting about everything except fishing! Fish new waters! Maybe try some different kinds of beer?:-)

crazy4oldcars 0 Report post Posted March 7, 2015 Bought a Kayak last summer. Only got to fish out of it a couple of times. This year I want to get out enough to figure it out. (Dangit, the boat MOVES when you set the hook!) Â Heck, it's raining every weekend for the next month and a half. I just hope I get to fish at all this year. I know, it could be snowing. IndianaYakFish 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2015 My goal is pretty simply...instead of chasing bluegill with a fly rod once or twice a year, this year I'm going to target bass, steelhead, pike, carp and trout with a fly rod on a regular basis. Have my work cut out for me, but it's going to be a heck of a good time.
