portlyjoe 0 Report post Posted March 20, 2015 Hey guys, I usually tie larger patterns( both salt and fresh) and have been introduced into tying for salmon because a fishing buddy moved to oswego n.y. and they use eggs for salmon and trout. ( I visited him and found it awesome!) I have tied some egg Patterns and would like some feedback on how they look and the likelihood they will catch fish. all are tied on Gamagatsu 10 egg hooks. thanks. one is a nuke egg and the other a milked otters clump Joe
artimus001 0 Report post Posted March 20, 2015 they look good from here, and should be good for steelies. you might want to add a sucker spawn fly to your arsenal as well. don't forget the nymphs!!
portlyjoe 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2015 Thanks Art. Its kind of frustrating because I can"t use them as of yet, I have a planned trip near the end of October. However I sent four dozen up to my bud and He has shown me pics of my fly in some nice steelies.
