williamhj 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2015 I'm a fan of Natives. Use amber almost the entire time for reasons mentioned above. The lenses are interchangeable so (theoretically) if you are fishing at night or in bad weather but want the eye protection you can use clear lenses or if you are fishing other water conditions you can switch lenses accordingly. And yes, they are polarized.

jonathan creason 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2015 I rarely leave the house without sunglasses, I just can't stand to squint. I got by for a long time with Peppers glasses, which are budget friendly but have plastic lenses. I stumbled on a good sale on Costa's a year ago on one of the outdoor, over-stock websites and have been wearing them ever since. There is a big difference in clarity between the lenses, and duribility with glass is much better. I still have the Peppers, but pretty much just use them when I'm mountain biking now. Friends do NOT let friends wear white frame sunglasses. LOL I agree 110% with that statement I think the Y chromezone dies a little every time a man puts on white framed sunglasses. As mentioned polorizing lens are a must. I like amber tint but I also like grey for those really bright days. For me wearing amber with really bright sun can just be too bright. I wore the cheap $5-$10 clip on ones for years ( I wear precrip eyeglasses) then I went with some actual polorized precrip sunglasses 2 years ago finally. Why do sunglasses made for flyfishing seem to have a much better fit to the head than any high end expensive normal sunglasses? It's the same as fly fishing cloathing, it's much better than any other expensive high end camping or fitness cloathing! Must be the people behind it also care & fish! And are not just some money hungry look what i can do's? Thankyou companys like "simms" "patagonia" "guideline"!
