Fisherboy,

yeah, Crawcito is decadent. Looks good though, I believe I will try it this season.

Well good luck!

Hey Nic, do you think we can see some pics when you get all the flies in? I'm always looking for new bass patterns!

Bronc, I can probably do that. I'm trying to get setup to get some better pics than the last ones. Didn't even post them since they so crappy. We are pretty slow on getting the bass flies in. Only ones so far are Jolly Red and his came in last month already. Hope everyone's getting along on their bass killers.

Mine have been sitting on the bench for a week... I was going to tie two, maybe I'll send these out and if I finish the others I'll send them also.

I'm coming along. Busy month with business travel set me back a bit, but I'm on it, worry not ...

I will be mailing mine out tomorrow. I made up a streamer type fly that I am calling a "Red Eyed Pink Pheasant" Strange looking fly but I think those big ole bass will most definitely at a bite at one!!! I hope everyone enjoys them. Can't wait to see what else everyone else has tied.

Got a great looking bluegill fly from Bassbugn today. If bass in your lake feed on bluegills like most do in spring anyway this will get 'em. We have three primary small reservoirs in our area, one of them the prime food is bluegill, one shad, one small crappie and sand bass. All have scattered other minnows and bass stay pretty well fed. This should be the ticket for the bluegill lake.

Flies in mail. Ran out of white, local shop out of stock; so some will get white and some silver ... they'll fish.

We got to have our first storm shelter party the other day. I have a big underground shelter and we had 6 adults and 4 kids in there. Wind and rain and the cell that blew by us dropped a tornado before it got to us and then again down the road a-ways. We did get hail from the earlier storm that dinged up my HHR pretty good and a couple bruises on my truck. Cherry Mustang goes under the carport tho so that was fine. Steel roof was okay. When the hail came in the storm before the tornado warning the hail on the steel roof made a ringing din you could hardly shout over. We did over 5" of rain over the week and there's more supposed to be on the way over the next 3 days. Hopefully lots more water but no more tornado warnings. What we got has already helped revive some of the shrinking reservoirs around here and is badly needed. Now if we could get some rain to the CA farmers I'd be happy knowing food is growing there again.l
