flyguy613 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2015 I would like some opinions if possible, considering picking up the simms blackfoot waders as they were discontinued and are on sale. I realize they are extremely simple waders and are not gortex but they seem better than the reddingtons and I love simms products Anyone own these waders? Looking to stay dry obviously and I'd like them to be decently breathable. Could care less for bells and whistles at this point
Hatchet Jack 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2015 I've had a pair for ~ 4 years and have had good luck with them. They're not "breathable". If you're able to try them on first with your socks & boots, all the better. Just turn them inside out and outside in again to let them dry well. Hang them up for storing....this cuts down on creases. I give them a definite thumbs up.

Nate 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2015 I had a pair for four years before they finally sprung a leak around mid thight...now I have a pair of Headwaters. Simms customer service is the best.
