vicrider 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2015 Okay, how did you load your pics? The old option and load doesn't seem to work right now. Did you post from photobucket? Nice flies of course but yours always are.

singletrack 0 Report post Posted May 5, 2015 Wanted to show my new design for a Crawfish pattern. I have been working on it for 2 months now. It is a little bit of a blend of other peoples ideas but I changed some materials. I am using felt from a craft store for the shell portion. I have designed the shell portion with a template so I can easily create the two parts that are required. If any one is interested I would be happy to share the templates I use to make it. Right now they are sized for a size 8 4x long hook but you could easily modify them for any size. This pattern can be tied in any color of you choice. This is a very easy tie. I do it in about 8 minutes that is really taking my time. Currently this is my list of materials. Theard: GSP 75 Black Claws: Rabbit Strip Head: Felt, Scud Dubbing Legs: Hackle any color. Dub and wrap hackle. Trim hackle flat and pull felt over. Tail: Felt, Scud Dubbing and 10lb mono ribbing This is all over a lead wire wraped body and a small dumb bell eye.
