Jeff, what did you use to hold the mouth together?

I have worked out a system using Liquid Fusion adhesive and a few random things to hold the face together. I use some parchment cooking paper up against the glue and a thin plastic disc behind that, slid over the hook eye and held in place. It presses the glue flat and into the face. After it dries, the disc is removed and the parchment paper peels right off.

I call it a Fluffy tail popper, because I use the feather boa "marabou". It gives a great movement in the water.

There's an SBS on the Flip Flop Foam Popper thread, if you're interested.

Getting ready for the weekend, headed to some bigger pickier trout water. Caddis are in full swing, had 6 species on the outside light tonight by the time the dog went out.

Black EHC and a tan and rust EHC:

A good heavy duty stimulator for rough water:

And a little trial run on a hybrid stimulator/muddler:

Nice popper Mike, and its yellow, which is the proper color for a popper.

Thanks, Jolly.

Sorry, but the body is actually orange and the tail is white. It's just bad lighting that made everything come out looking that color.
