Recommended Posts

A Michigan pattern from the late 50's; kind of a quill-bodied Adams, or an Adams-hackled Quill Gordon. Original was tied Catskill-like; I prefer mine with denser hackle.

hook - Dai Riki 320 #12

thread - Danville 6/0 black

tail - hackle fibers brown

abdomen - peacock quill stripped

wing - mallard flank

hackle - grizzly/brown

Mash down barb, start thread
