Goose77 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2015 Hey guys, nice work. Okay...a friend asked if I could do something with Chen's Creature froglegs. So we cooked up some ideas today and the flies went swimmin.' The small deerhair fly got the honors with LMB up to 4 lbs [no, I didn't keep 'em, I just grew up thinking in terms of pounds not inches]. Surprisingly, the floating minnow did next best. Had one leg tail-wrap only twice all afternoon. So, these seem to work. I was concerned the amount of material in the froglegs [and their wet weight] might hinder action...they did fine. Goose77 0 Report post Posted September 4, 2015 Wrapping up a buddy's request for something with Cohen's Creatures froglegs. Here's my diver...a little one and a medium size in subdued colors:
deerhairdan 0 Report post Posted September 4, 2015 Size 1 divers and poppers. Much smaller then I typically tie them. The most efficient size is 2/0 or 4/0....these little guys are fun tho.
johnnyquahog 0 Report post Posted September 4, 2015 Goose - love the froggies. Let us know whether the diver, deer hair slider, solid slider or popper fishes best.
