Crackaig 0 Report post Posted September 20, 2015 Nick, no scruffier than the original. it looks as though you have done something I like to do. I'm not a fan of counter wound ribs. Rather than counter wind the rib, counter wind the body material and wind the rib conventionally. Â This isn't just an aesthetic thing,I believe it makes a stronger fly. Materials tied in in the same direction they are wound are tightened by the wraps. Wrapping against the direction of wind loosens the material.
