hairwing 0 Report post Posted September 4, 2015 I have always used Danville 6/0 waxed for almost all my flies and midges. I didn't see any advantage to some of the micro-threads I tried earlier in my tying days. Using 6/0 on the smallest of flies does take some caution and planning but can easily be done with a few practice rounds. Here's a #28 94840 tied with 6/0...........
