netabrookie 0 Report post Posted September 4, 2015 I am not the most technically advance person at all. After finally figuring out how to post pictures from my computer it decided to fry its little brain and now the only way for me to get online is with my phone. The phone takes good pictures but i have no idea how to get them from my gallery to this site. Any help would greatly be appreciated but you will probably have to explain it to me as if you were explaining something to a chimpanzee because, as stated before, I am basically a computer idiot. Thanks, Tony

flytire 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2015 ask a teenager! i'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer so here goes heres one way upload your photos to photobucket (create an account its free) and get the app for your phone (android or ios) then copy the "img" code and post that in a forum if you have a home computer then you could email yourself the photos and download them to a desktop folder and the add the photo as an attachment to a forum post i'm sure theres experts out there that may have better/easier ways to do it

feathers5 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2015 What I did, and I don't know if this is the best way, is that I e-mailed the photo from my phone to my computer. I downloaded the photo into my picture file, and then posted it from there as usual. I hoped I helped.
fpeachm 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2015 On Flytyingforum, this is an interesting question. I tried it on my iPad. When I load Flytyingforum and want to reply to your post, I'm presented a window for typing text, and nothing else. THERE IS A BUTTON, labelled "Full Version" at bottom of the page, which when tapped presents the same window to post text in. But now THERE IS A NEW BUTTON on the bottom right of the input field labelled "More Reply Options". Tap this and you finally get to the point where you can upload a photo. So I have uploaded this screenshot to show you it can be done. It's shown as a thumbnail but... It works. I'd suggest the writers of Flytyingforum develop the upload facility to be convenient in the mobile version of their site...
netabrookie 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2015 Test Well, that didn't work...I think I could just draw or paint a picture and mass mail it and have better results. At least I know how to do that and I wouldn't have to proof read before I post something to be sure that the damn phone didn't change the word I am typing into the word it thinks I am trying to type. Yeti 0 Report post Posted September 6, 2015 Thanks anyway ....we tried...now to see if this G'zOne One Commando phone is as tough as they say it is....if you don't see any activity from me for a while then we will all know that the wall is tougher than the phone. I've had that phone for nearly 2 yrs now and I love it. It has survived boat work in alaska, winter steelheading storms, and even a full wash cycle when I left it in my pants. It just came out really clean and works fine! Its the perfect phone for a fisherman!
