Lost Coast

Introduction..

Recommended Posts

Originally from Northern California. After 45-years in Washington I am headed home to the Lost Coast (in 55-days)... The fisheries are in such terrible state here I don't know where to begin.

In addition to steelheading with the two-handers I also get a kick out of fishing for the resident miniature versions, too!

Looking forward to being closer to the family and new adventures. Of course, the Rivers of the Lost Coast!

I have started tying the classics again....

Welcome. Look forward to seeing your fish and flies.

Like that Thor. Skunk is not a common seen fur over here (UK)

Wow, nice fly !

I don't know anything about the specific area you will be in out west but I do know that up in the mountains, the Truckee river still has good fishing. Washington, Oregon still good Steelhead fishing. I think Salmon are getting tough everywhere. I bet you can find a Honey Hole somewhere out there !! Good luck with it.
