flytyer56 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2015 Thanks! Blue has been a good prince nymph color for me lately. This is a little more stoneflyish, which are usually good winteritme here I think those might catch some steelhead out of the Lake Erie tribs. Don't ya know that's exactly where I'm gonna drift them! Good luck when you go. Maybe one of these days we'll get some water in the rivers up there!

josephcsylvia 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2015 Joe... those are beauties! All identical (must be clones). thank you, had to tie all the same, and I filled in for another swapper, so I promised the group I'd have them out in a day, never having tied on a safety pin I would say it took me twice as long as a hook! Im happy with them their a reflection of my fishing.

utyer 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2015 Cream, that is a great ornament, and fly. I have been working on making my own articulation shanks, and this is the first fly with 2 shanks and a salt water hook, over all the pattern is 5" long. The others are some Tullis Wiggle Bugs, I am still working on getting these right.
