Anybody tie anything up with Chocklett's body tubing? I'm thing about getting some to mess around with and figured I'd look for some inspiration.

Yah those streamers were fun to tie. They were tied on size 2/0 rear and 55 mm Partridge Shank. The singles were tied on a size 2 limmerick.

 

Trout loved them.

I saw it at the local fly shop. This is the stuff: http://flymenfishingcompany.com/products/chockletts-big-game-body-tubing I'd say your local shop could order it or you can probably find it at one of the big online fly shops.

I plan on tying some articulated Krakkens, which are usually tied with palmered zonker strips. They catch well for me, bu they aren't fun to cast. I hope that the tube allows me to use marabou and arctic fox instead of the usual bunny strips.

 

I also want to tie some big articulate deer hair bug that I use at night. I want to tie the with more bulk/shape, but without adding more material. Also, the tubing on the head looks like it is more efficient than spinning hair.
