Philly 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2016 Corney The craft fur, at least the stuff I have, has a natural taper. So does Senyo Lazer dubbing. Other materials you have to do a bit of work. I get the taper in my materials by blending in the flash. There's an excellent illustrated article on flash blending by Steve Farrar on the Atlantic Saltwater Flyrodders web site. http://www.aswf.info/images/flashblending.pdf. You could do the same without adding the flash. They have several fly tying videos and detailed instructions in .pdf format on the site. http://www.aswf.info/multimedia/flytying.html. Well worth checking out.
Robert M 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2016 Looks like he has taken down most of his old site. Looks like he has gone commercial. The other site that has a bunch of eye candy baitfish is theonefly blog. Holger Lachman he doesn't trim his baitfish much.
