I used those 1 time and they look, well, fake. Like a picture. I would much rather use starling as a substitute.

Just bought some real ones on etsy, twenty feathers for $2.95. Don't know what to expect but they should be here in a few days and I'll put up some pics.

VJC - definitely let us know how they look - if I found the correct listing you've bought from, the seller is moonlight feathers. If so, I've had two bad experiences with them and am unable to get in contact with them.

 

Poor product and poor customer service. Hopefully you're experience is better!

Okay, they just came today. They look a little rough but I've never purchased these before and I'm not sure how usable or un usable they are. I'm just making fishing flies and want to try out some patterns that use them. Would like some comments from the guys who know what they're doing.
