It doesn't have the hinged stem to the vise head, but it looks like a Terra.

My 1st rotary vise looked just like that one. It was a made in India knock off. I bought it at Jann's NetCraft in Maumee, Ohio about 20 years ago.

Yup, either an Indian or Pakistani knock-off that is variously marketed by/as Sunrise, Terra, Zephr. Turns up all over the place. Heck, even Orvis is selling a variant. Have played with a couple of derivations and none of them were worth the price.

OK, thanks for info. It was part of a package deal that I could pick up fairly cheap, but had no idea if the vise was junk or gold.

It looks to be in the range of $50.00 vises. Probably works very well for the average tier ... not good enough for commercial quantity tiers.

What Mike said, if you're not a commercial tier it will serve the purpose. I tied on the one I had for at least 10 years and it did every thing I expected it to do.

Looks like Flytire nailed it. Not of a quality a commercial tier would use but would provide good service for someone just starting.
