Capt Bob LeMay 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2016 On a good day - most anglers will be pretty much all in by the time we get back to the dock...
Chris_NH 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2016 That looks like work. I've always wanted to go after baby tarpon on the fly, but anything over 15 pounds or so wouldn't really be welcomed. I don't like to sweat while I fish unless it's from the sun.
Capt Bob LeMay 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2016 I have a fly charter tomorrow night that will start at 10pm and end somewhere around 3Am. Although it's still early for the night scene I'm expecting babies up to 40lbs and we'll be sight fishing them in the shadows up under the bridges between Miami and Miami Beach with 8 and 9wt rods. Great fun when they're on station ghosting along in the shadows back and forth while looking for shrimp riding the tide out to the nearby ocean cuts... A 30lb tarpon on an 8wt has to be experienced to be believed (if you can stay connected...).
