Nice PT. Any chance you used Danville #47 for the abdomen? And if so, it appears lacquered,..true?

Ran out of Indicator flies on my last trip to Idaho, so I started tying up a few more.

That would be correct ( #47 tobacco brown ) and coated with Hard As Hull...

How the heck do you even see to tie these flies?

 

Tying them is the easy part. Threading the bead on that size hook is what gives me fits.

Dat bunny midge tho... Nice work

I ribbed it with a single strand of Angel Hair. After I broke it a few times, I decided a light coat of Hard as Hull thin was a good idea for durability.

He wanted the colours of a Lenok trout & big! One is 20" the other 19" Partridge 6/0 Predator X 20mm & 35mm fishskull articulated shanks!
