flyty1 0 Report post Posted August 8, 2016 Great shots!!! Love the color saturation... Would you care to share some of the technical details? i.e. camera, lens, exposure settings, filters, etc. Would love to learn from these really dramatic images!! Bryon Anderson 0 Report post Posted August 18, 2016 Beautiful photos! Love the rainbow. Based on the colors you're getting in those shots, I'd guess you're using a polarizing filter, is that right?

DrVette 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2016 Oh what i wouldn't give to have several days dissecting that pond...
Jimr1961 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2016 Me too. I didn't bring any fishing gear on this trip. It was all about photography for this one. Funny thing is this "pond" is actually the Tuolumne river as it does a tight "S"turn after slowing from the falls 1/4 mile upstream. We happened to have found a perfect camp spot right up from that last shot, so that is where we walked down to get our water for camp. To get to the lower falls in shot #2, we had to wade a flooded section of trail. It was about thigh deep, but wonderful to wade through with flip flops until the trail rose out of the flooded area; about 1/4 mile. Next time, I'm concentrating on fishing the area. mikechell 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2016 I was looking at the Tuolumne River a couple of weeks ago. Didn't get the chance to fish it this year, but if I go out there again next Summer, I'll be wading that water, for sure!
JenMorri88 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2020 it's unrealistically beautiful, just wow. Tell me, please, where is it? There is hope that someday I will go there and do something similar
cphubert 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2020 JenMorri88, hello and welcome to the forum. The pictures are from Yosemite National Park on the Tuolumne River. I camped there a long time ago when I was stationed in California, stayed in the campground at Tuolumne Meadows. Wish I had pictures to share it is a beautiful place. 21 hours ago, JenMorri88 said: it's unrealistically beautiful
