October flies from the vise

WOW!

You should really start with some of the reject flies. You know... Warm up a little...

Then again, you probably think that the fly in the picture is not particularly good...

:) :) :)

Several things to work with here ;) But: this is for fishing and practicing married wings, so it will do.

Give PT a couple of days and that box will be full of beauts.

PT, I really like those Radiation jobs. Do you have a parts list?

Here are the parts...

Mat%20RADIATION%20BAETIS_zpsdnymyvkr.jpg

HOOK: TMC 2488

THREAD: UTC 70 denier, Brown - Abdomen / Veevus 8/9 Fl. Orange -Thorax forward

TAIL: Natural Hen Fibers

ABDOMEN: UTC 70 Denier, Brown

RIB: Lagartun, Copper, x-fine

WINGCASE: Holograhic Mylar Motion, Black, 1/32"

LEGS: Fluoro Fiber, Brown - 16 -20 strands, pulled over thorax and split, then pull the Holographic Mylar Motion over

THORAX: Ice Dub, Peacock

BEAD: Copper Tungsten sized to hook

* Coat the carapace (top of the abdomen ) and wingcase with UV Resin...I like black because most active Baetis/BWO nymphs have dark or black wingcases.
