Some dude wanted a large triple articulated, heavily weighted streamer with rattles for his upcoming trip to Bolivia. These are about 7-7.5ish" with a 2/0 on Gamakatsu sl12s on the back, a 40mm predator shank, and a 4/0 sl12s on the font. I tied a plastic rattle on the underside of the middle shank, and i added (4x) 4.0mm tungsten beads to the underside of the front hook (belly scratcher method, but on the bottom of the shank). This leaves a good amount of hook gap for hook ups, while adding a ton of weight to get them down in that really fast water. I cant wait to see these things hanging from the lip of a monster.

Thanks to Vicrider showing the Cypert minnow in another thread. Here's my go at it with a few variances and eyes from an old fake pearl necklace my wife was throwing away. On a cheap eagle claw live bait hook. I think the big mouth bass will approve.

Not so good. I think the beads were too dense.. it will become a new crappie jig to use this winter.

 

On another note. I did pick up some liquid fusion and small gems the other day. I like the way they look.. like a mirrOlure.

Look up Looper Flies. Sam Looper is selling them, I don't have time to tie and sell them. I've helped Sam get them tied exactly the way I tie them and he's cranking them out pretty often. He does good work, look him up.
