Found this over on the swittersb site. Original used the ribbing material for the butt which looked kinda meh so I swapped out for the tinsel. Mallard, pintail, widgeon etc could be used for the wing, too.

 

hook - Dai Riki 320 #12

thread - Danville 6/0 red

butt - tinsel holo copper

rib - Uni-stretch brown

tail/back - pheasant tail

abdomen - dubbing march brown rabbit

hackle - partridge

wing - woodduck flank

Yeah ..it's kinda funny as i've been tying these for some time , usually with a black tungsten bead or brass up front
