January Flies from the Vise

Holiday break gave me some time to spin some inshore saltwater flies. Just started tying last year and I'm "hooked"...

 

Thanks to Nick Davis of 239 Flies for inspiration for these patterns (excluding spoon flies).

tail - golden pheasant tippets

body - brassie wire hot orange

thorax - peacock herl

wing - antron white

hackle - hen grizzly

Not to dismiss the others, but the white muddler is beautiful.

Sunday is a great day for January flies, kudos to all, great pictures and tying efforts
