Clear Cure Goo UV Light Issue

Recommended Posts

Even then they're not making their own uv bulbs I'm sure...

I will say that I tried a single bulb uv at first thinking more bulbs just broaden the light and don't intensify it, but I was wrong on that. It took a long time to dry the resin with just one bulb.

I've got a single bulb light that Powershooter gave me. Works well, even producing smoke from the UV resin as it cures it.

I have a generic light, it works fine but I really like the UV laser pen, Mine is the deercreek one. They work great also. I like the fine point of light. You can control the cure if you want. Nice for uv gluing larger eyes on bass bugs.

CCG is definitely gone. When I started using UV resin I brought the CCG kit with their high end light. It's still working well probably going on 3 years now. It works with all the resins I now have, Loon, Bug Bond and Solarez. I did pick a cheaper one, I think for $7 that I have in case the CCG one craps out.

Anybody that lives in Southlake is extremely well to do and I mean extremely !!!

Its probably the most high end suburb in DFW area.

He doesnt make his money to live there selling glue to fly tiers.

My loon light burnt out.  About a year old

Still the first set of batteries.

Pulled the end cap. Put in new batteries.

I put the positive in toward the bulb.

Just like all lights. Then it didn't come on. I smelled a bad smell and sinking feeling.  This is a 40 - 50 dollar light..

Anyone else have this problem?

DAVE

I have that Lowe’s craftsman light and it works very well, seems to cure things without tackiness better than the handful of other lights I have.

I have a multi led light like those you show as well as the deer creek laser pen. I find myself using the laser pen 90 percent of the time. It is very nice to control the cure.

I use the multi bulb unit when the area very large such as doming over a doll eye.
