I certainly don't think the fish will mind the slight mishaps, but IMO that's a nice tie, especially if you've never tied one before. I tied some years ago to enter into a contest and it took me 8 flies before I reached anything as close as yours. Ended up sending in my 14th fly, but never came even close to other entries.
