Djh262's flies are here. The Sulfur Dun CDC Puff and they are AWESOME! Very nicely done. Thanks, djh! Guys, this is going to be an outstanding box of flies. You are going to be SO glad that you signed up for the swap.

 

However, there is one small problem. I need to be out-of-town, unexpectedly, next week and won't be back until the 27th. The due date for the flies is the 25th. Assuming that all the flies will be here on time, you are going to have to be patient for another couple of days until I get back home. But I promise you, the set of flies you are getting are going to be WELL worth the wait.

So I get home from work today, late as usual it seems lately and wow there is a surprise in the mail box. I find a package. Cool I am waiting for a tee shirt from NADDI. It must be here. I open it and it is a lovely package of hair's ear parachutes. I'm not running a swap. I have just joined the first swap in weeks.

OK Guys, I'm back and we have 3 sets that arrived while I was gone. They are from Flat Rock Native, who sent us all a couple of sets, Thank You Very Much, excellent ties and much appreciated! Another awesome set from Decisions which are going to soon have a special spot in everyone's fly box, and a set from Vicente that are just like the picture in the book. Thanks, Vicente! Troutguy has a set tied by JBurge and we will get those here shortly. So that means that there are 2 sets still out. From earlier posts, those must be finished or nearly so, and we ought to be hearing from those fellows any day now that their flies are in the mail. As soon as I get my hands on the other 3 sets, I'll get them sorted and back to you guys. Then I'm thinking about "The Ultimate Challenge --- Your Worst Fly Tying Nightmare!"
