vicrider 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2017 Okay, mine will go out today. The primary fly I finished first is one that has caught a ton of 'gills in years past, particularly in shallow farm ponds. Then I just bought a mixed bag of hooks and had some in there in a design that I've often wondered about. Looking at them and playing with a few different takes on dressing I found one I kind of like that I think will be good in panfish water. Maybe not. Maybe a dud. Just has a few triggers on there that work on other patterns, even if not the same sequencing. Red tag, striped body, herl thorax, CDC collar. dflanagan 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2017 Done and they will be in the mail tomorrow. I've had pretty good luck with this pattern tied on a scud hook but ran low so used a 200R lookalike.
