After a couple of years of making my bass bugs almost exclusively out of cork, this year I've come back to the deer hair a little bit. This is my #1 smallmouth bug, a slider I call the Bubblehead Charm.

These two got my first large mouths this year. Also used and had good luck with a single yellow popper bought at the store. The hooks are a size 5, but have since tied the yellow sally this way on a size 1 ringed hook.
