The only obstacles here at the spillway is one dock and idiots casting over your line. That's why every trip this year was after 11:00 pm..by then, most people have left. caloosa bug 0 Report post Posted July 30, 2017 Me and dad took a early trip out on lake o this morning,and was back at the house by 11. Its been a couple months since we fished the main lake. This was the big one of the morning. I was hooked up to another one on a topwater plug that could have been a personal best...and I have a 10-6 on the wall. I threw the fly rod some, and would switch back and forth until the wind picked up around 9. Had a blast, and I think dad might be back out later this week trying to get my big one that got away.
