skeet3t 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2021 I have hackle guards but made one from a plastic drinking straw. Cut to length of about 3/8-1/2 inch long and slit one side. Slide it over the hackle to flatten it and finish the head. That is a good looking WB! I suggest tying a few in black, white and purple which around here is good for trout.
