saving a draft

Recommended Posts

If making a long post I type and edit it in notepad. Then cut and paste.

There is a note in the lower bar of this reply box that indicates auto save every couple minutes.

The only place I can "save as a draft" is in my E-mail. I don't believe that function is available here.

I've used this feature several times when typing on a mobile phone. The pictures (at least attachments) aren't saved, but the text is.

This may not be what you are looking for, and you probably already know this, but just in case..

Caloosa, the auto-save feature is only available while you are actively on the post. If you want to leave the post, and come back to it, you'd need to "draft" it.

Again, the only place I know of where that's a feature is on E-mails.

I have posted on this site, saved and posted on another site and had the pictures travel. But I've never tried bringing a post into this site.

Flytire ... I don't think there's any easy way to "Save as draft" on this site.

You could save it as .html and put it in a folder in your blog, uploading all pics as well.

Then link to it from the forum...
