Mike West 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2018 Ever since the site went down a while back for a couple days Ive be getting multiple email notifications for the same thread Ive read. Ill get them during the daytime I go and read the thread delete the email and then in the morning Ill get the same notification again but the thread has not been updated...Sometimes Ill get the notification two three times over the next few days and nothing is new in the thread I just came home tonight to 66 emails from this site and everyone of them is old and been read. Not 4/5 emails for the same post in the same thread Never had a problem with this until recently. Doesnt do it on the other 4/5 boards I hang out on. mikechell 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2018 Just offering a suggestion ... turn off notifications, then turn them on again. See if that helps. If you're getting notified just when someone views the thread ... perhaps that will stop. Again, I am just offering a suggestion. I've got no ability to change anything. Im getting email notifications for threads/topics Im subscribed to over and over even though the thread hasnt had a new post in days. mikechell 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2018 I just looked at your profile page. You will, automatically, get two E-mail notifications. You have your E-mail listed ... AND you have it listed again under "Yahoo". The computer doesn't recognize your regular Email address IS a Yahoo address. So, you're getting one notification on Yahoo and one to your E-mail.
