April Fools Warm Water Swap...

Recommended Posts

I think there's some confusion here. But I think I understand the situation. This is similar to the Christmas swap. One member is going to get all the flies you tie. So, you're sending them to the water with 12 flies YOU think will guarantee results.

Not 12 different flies ... since we all know it sucks to have a good fly the fish are hitting and to lose the only one !!!

Mikechell is close...yes all your 12 flies are going to an other participant.

Those 12 need to be 6 for a 3-6wt and 6 for a 7-9wt and your favorite flies you like to fish the most.

They can all be different or 2 of this 2 of that 3 of these etc.ect

Just make sure you have 6 & 6 for each line weight group.

As an example I’m going to do 2 Bream flies,2 Crappie flies and 2 Sand Bass flies

for the 3-6 wt group. Then 3 LM Bass flies and 3 Striper flies for the 7-9wt group.

Make sense?

Just to be clear, unlike the Christmas swap, you'll get back the box you sent flies in?

No...just send them in something cheap that I can forward on.

I usually send mine in a little pencil/doodad box you can get at Walmart for like $.50 or a dollar

Flies are done. I will go to Michaels tomorrow and get the box and then mail them on Tuesday. Please send me the address.

Thanks for hosting,

Tom
