FKROW 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2018 Several years ago, when the LAW vise was readily available, I tied on several friends vises. At that time I was a collector of tying vises to use, not as investments. I called Lawrence and spoke to him for a special order, he had already jumped the price to over $800. Last year several in my area sold for approx. $800-$900 which is reasonable if you compare to other commercial vises. Not for me, the Renzetti Masters and Dyna King are more comfortable and hold the hook better. Regards, FK

Those who always have post negative comments on people that purchase expensive things.
mikechell 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2018 Nothing negative in my post, Tony. I don't see why you read it that way. There are collectors and there are those who don't understand the collectors. Why is that negative towards the collectors? It's not like they don't already know people don't understand them. I'll bet most vice collectors (rods, reels, cars, whatever) have a spouse who says, "What?!?!? You bought another one??" And then, of course, follows the next question ... "How MUCH !?!?!?"
