Started out tying Ryan Houston's Myles Peter and ended up in a different place. Gonna try this for skwalas in darker olive tones.

 

 

hook - Dai Riki 280 #10

thread - Danville 6/0 light olive

rib - small wire gold

body hackle - olive grizzly

body - dubbing olive

wing - pheasant rump olive

front hackle - pheasant church window olive

collar - aftershaft olive

 

 

mash barb, start thread at 3/4 mark; tie in rib, wrap to bend

tie in (folded) hackle by tip

dub thread/dub body to 3/4 mark

palmer hackle forward, sweeping fibers back; tie off/trim

This definitely looks like a keeper.

I see lots of movement going on.

Useful on all type water.

Just subbed on Ryans site, don't know how I missed this one.
