When I get tired of going blind trying to pick out the emergers or spinners in the dark, swinging a softhackle could pick up some fish. Found this simple pattern on the Leftyangler blog site.

hook – Dai Riki 320 #16

thread - MFC 8/0 light olive

tail - partridge

abdomen - biot olive

thorax - dubbing pink (where you get yours from is completely up to you)

hackle - hen dun

Regards,

Scott

Kimo

Most excellent! In the appropriate sizes those have redfish and black drum written all over them too. Sometimes I really wish redfish didn't hate me so much.
