something simple

stick caddis (cased caddis)

 

hook - nymph/wet style

thread - black

head - chartreuse foam

ribbing - copper wire

body - turkey tail fibers

Scaled Shiner Streamer

 

Hook – Streamer style

Thread – Black

Tail – Black hackle fibers topped with white hackle fibers

Body – Olive green silk or uni-stretch

Ribbing – Heavy black thread; two pieces tied in at the tail and

crisscrossed to provide a scale effect

Throat – Red hackle fibers

Wing – 4 black hackles

Cheeks – Jungle cock
