chugbug27 0 Report post Posted August 4, 2018 Thought so, but it looks a lot stronger and smaller than my klinkhammer hooks manufactuted by partridge... what company makes yours?
Tom Cummings 0 Report post Posted August 4, 2018 Orvis brand. They are strong I admit Adams dry revisited. Size #
chugbug27 0 Report post Posted August 4, 2018 I don't like my thinner version from partridge, bends too easily, I like the one you're using
Tom Cummings 0 Report post Posted August 4, 2018 I find it quite hard to bend. Usually thread breaks or if I do bend it its because I am forcing the hook to accept a bead to make it beyond the sharp bend. Happened 1 time out of nearly 50 hooks in a pack. FishnPhil 0 Report post Posted August 5, 2018 Thanks for the response and examples flytire Good to be reminded the pros break thread, make hackle size mistakes, and generally screw up occasionally. Well except Kimo, I'll never believe it, even with pics!! Seriously nice flies from everyone. Hope I can tie again soon.
