Second half copper oval tinsel. Throat – dun hackle fibers Wing – mottled brown turkey Tying note: I tied this fly per the photo in the book “Forgotten Flies”. caloosa bug 0 Report post Posted August 18, 2018 I pulled out some ftd bug back that someone sent me in a swap to attempt something resembling a scud. I don't comment on them because I am just not into the style of flies you generally tie. Retro ... I agree with Caloosa's comment on your beetle. Sweet! Caloosa ...
