Joshpilon08 0 Report post Posted September 4, 2018 I would like in on this one. I can do one of two flies. Either a clouser minnow or a conehead bugger. Let let know what you think.
netabrookie 0 Report post Posted September 4, 2018 I'm in. I'm not sure what but it will be a traditional dry fly.
breambuster 0 Report post Posted September 4, 2018 Joshpilon08, I am glad to add you to the list. I think either pattern would be fine. Let me know which you would prefer and I'll update your listing. You're in! Netabrookie! What a joy to be swapping with you again. So glad that you decided to join us. I'll put you down for a Traditional Dry. Let me know when you decide on a particular pattern. Thanks BB

netabrookie 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2018 Breambuster, I was going to go with an Adam's but I don't have enough feathers for the wings so I thought about a Royal Wulff instead. If that's ok with you and everyone else I will get started but if not just say so and I will come up with something else.
breambuster 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2018 Sounds good to me, Netabrookie. I've got you down for a Royal Wulff.
J-Kno 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2018 Hey BB, I'd like to join this one... Jig style frenchie will work in all of those waters and I won't leave the house without a couple in my box. Ideas on due date? Also need your addy... J-Kno
breambuster 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2018 J-Kno, you are in. Thanks for joining us. I haven't posted a due date because I didn't know how long it was going to take to fill up the swap. But a couple of people have asked for something toward the end of October, and that's where I'm leaning right now. I will PM you my addy. Take Care BB
breambuster 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2018 J-Kno, I tried to PM you my addy but I got a message that you couldn't receive any more PM's. Check you box and see if you need to discard some stuff. BB
vicrider 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2018 Joshpilon, I'm glad you made your choice and it saved me stepping in as a moderator and making you change your pick if you went with wooly bugger. The thing is almost all of have wooly buggers to last us 'til the last fish is caught and often tie one as we're going along on a run just for a break. Even I can tie a darn passable conehead bugger but a good clouser minnow, now we're talking. I have tied 'em but on a 1-5 scale mine might be a 2 where my wooly bugger would be a 4.5. Looking forward to the clouser.

breambuster 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2018 OK! We are now full!!! We the addition of Old Hat and r2732, we are now full. Thanks, guys, for joining. TO EVERYONE, now that the swap is filled, we come back to the question of DUE DATE. Those who have expressed any concern about the due date have asked for later rather than sooner, and I can understand that. We are just getting the kids back to school. Some of you will be storing your gear before the snow flies, etc, etc. So how about if we set the due date for Oct 25? That gives you almost 2 months to tie 12 flies and, hopefully we fill finish the swap before Halloween. If that works a hardship for anyone, let me know. Thanks to all.
