Hello plugs, Nice pattern, looks like it would work for steelhead too. What is the wind material?

A vintage pattern; originally used as a sunken beetle, in larger sizes (as here) it should work as a general attractor.

Another vintage pattern; not sure of it's roots, but it was listed in Favorite Flies and Their Histories by Mary Orvis Marbury, published in 1892 so it's been around for a while. Original was tied with wing of jungle cock feathers; having none, I subbed well-marked hen badger.
