Tied up some quick fishing flies in preparation.

Yes and my bad, you're on the main river and the forks are not even called east and west... They're just to the east of where you'll be.

That's "cute", Bruce. If you're into accuracy, the mouth should be trimmed to be open. Frogs shoot out the tongue with the mouth wide open.

What's nice is that comes tapered along with the ribbing.
Can't duplicate that with wire.

Tying note - The Trey Combs book has the tip/tail in reverse order while the Terry Hellekson book omits the white bucktail in the wing,

I tied the above fly usin the Trey Combs recipe and I reversed the tip/tail.
