WJG 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2019 Mark, It has to work for you first, if you are ever going to fish it. I try to keep my life simple. All my trout flies, with a thread head, are either a red or black. Even with tired eyes and low light, I can see the difference easily.

Poopdeck 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2019 New bunks for the old trailer. New 2 by 6, new carpet and the addition of full length surfix full glide sticks so the boat launches itself. I broke the winch rope twice last year trying to crank the boat up the last foot of the trailer. The glide sticks should take care of that little problem. The old bunks lasted 20 years but are getting pretty rotted which probably caused a lot of stress on the winch rope. Â
flytire 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2019 trimming out a picture window   this window has leaked for a number of years and it was time to remove the old particle paper faced swollen molding  it also needed some additional framing  time to find new molding to finish this project (some modings are not cheap)

DFoster 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2019 Well the wife's bathroom that I mentioned a few weeks back on this thread is done, at least the part she asked me to complete (New lighting, toilet and sink). I did get out today to fish the river behind my house which the state "claims" they stocked with brown trout yesterday. No browns but I did catch a couple of fall fish that made it fun. Any time on a river is a gift.
