What does Fly Tyers Dungeon carry that most compares with Laser Dub?

And how close is it?

Ive only tried his Congo hair and that was a gift. I saw a video he did making a popper with his Frog dub and it looked interesting so Im going to order some to give it a try, Im also getting low on Laser Dub and thought Id buy some of it if its comparable.

Frog is new but the only one that sounds close.

Edit: if the Frawg Dub is close I guess one could add Angle Hair or Wing Flash to it.

I think starburst is what you want, I like using the golden peacock for baitfish patterns.

You could also comb out acrylic yarn then mix in ice dub and get basically the same thing...

 

FTD has cool stuff for great prices. I would also recommend starburst dubbing.

Not sure about Mike's reason, but when tying large bass streamers a single bag doesn't go that far. A cheaper option is always good.

Salmobytes I would love to see what mayfly wings look like with laser dub. Never would have thought to try it for that purpose.
