utyer 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2019 My most recent wading activity has been in a "river" with a sand bottom. There was an occasional boat passing by from time to time. The noisiest thing in this "river," were the gators we spooked thrashing into the water. On the up side, their tails would really stir up the bottom. Needless to say, I stayed on dry ground in those areas, but I did find myself up to my waist a few times during the day, along with several other anglers.
