RickZieger 0 Report post Posted June 16, 2019 Went to a Fiber Fair with my wife yesterday. Lots of materials that tyers could use. Wanted to get two light colors of brown that I did not have. When they started to weight it I said that I could use a short piece that they tossed on the table. Lay told me that it would be hard to spin. T told her maybe on a spinning wheel, but not on a fishing hook. They then asked if all the weight could be in short piece and I said yes. It was $3.50 for an ounce of each color. They said they wanted to get rid of the short pieces so I ended up with almost 2 ounces of each color. Then the said the charge was $5.00 and a coupe of flies for a neighbor. rscconrad 0 Report post Posted June 17, 2019 Nice. I have scored quite a few fibers that way. Angelina was my firsts find at my wife’s fiber store. Lots of other good stuff they call synthetic fibers. One of them is very similar to ep fibers
