November Flies From The Vise

Mike, that's too funny.

Let's see some Last Chance Cripples, since they are on our minds lately. I'm gunna try one. Writing an application for a patent right now so my "spare" time is limited. It's worse than tax season.

Ask and you shall receive Mark.

That there's a beauty Noah but don't you think it should have more hackle? Of course I'm just teasing, it's really nice.

Mark, I think we both followed the same path based on the other discussion topic. Watched videos (thanks silvercreek) and sit down to tie.

I think we also established that Mark was prone to perversion on his ties.

Based on chugbug27's musings on another thread.

Glass bead thorax, snowshoe post, over hackled 2x, sz12 hackle on Sz 16 curved, didn't have any klinkhammers left.

Tested in my "casting" pool out back.

Results... barely floats on first cast, slowly sinks. Sinks head first all subsequent. Perhaps a lighter hook?

Snowshoe gets waterlogged but is tough as nails. You can dry it on a chamois patch. False casting works but only for so long
