Mark, you can cast them on a frozen lake to try them but you most likely won't get any fish although your guides might ice up.

Ya know, that raises an interesting question. I wonder if they will act the same a 30 below as they do at 30 or more above. I think I will drive them like an old lady and use them only to go back and forth to church on sunny, summer, Sunday mornings (maybe).

The line probably won't like 30 below, seems like it would be likely to crack. I've fished in the +20s maybe teens before made my line pretty stiff.

I think you are right. Even our tires get flat spots in them at 30 below.
